About this work

Allegorical medallion with a depiction of some Volunteers of the Utrecht University, 1830. On the ground in front of the medallion lie weapons and parts of armor. On both sides standards, on the right a standard with the city coat of arms of Utrecht. At the top attributes of university study: books, pen and paper, with a putto with helmet blowing a horn. See also the pendant.
