About this work
Deep-sea lead with a loop. The lead contains a glass tube with a brass scale next to it, indicating the depth by water entering the bottom of the tube. For this purpose, the tube has a small tap attached under a circular opening in the lead. The glass tube and scale can be covered with a semi-circular iron plate. A hole is provided at the bottom of the lead for taking bottom samples.
