About this work

Artificial horizon with spirit level and handwritten explanation in mahogany box. The circular horizon consists of darkened glass on a lead plate in a brass tripod with adjustable feet. The spirit level has a scale from 0 in the middle to 40 on both sides on top; with a spring in the base, the level is secured in the corner in which it is placed. The handwritten explanation is in French.
