About this work

Three blocks and a third-hand tackle according to the regulations of 1865. The first block is a two-sheave gording block with double wire rope sling and wire rope binding and a round sleeve. The second is a 26 cm two-sheave block with wire rope sling with short splits; the binding is of leather and the block has an iron sleeve and a parchment label with inscription. The third is a 26 cm two-sheave grenade block with wire rope sling; the binding is of rope, the block has an iron sleeve and a hook. The third-hand tackle consists of a single and a double-sheave block, the fixed part attached to the sling of the single block; both blocks have a wire rope sling with wire rope binding without splits, an iron sleeve and a hook. Scale 1:1.
