About this work
Construction model in longitudinal section of the midsection of a ship's hull, on a stand. The skin is omitted, and the model shows the construction with diagonal bracing according to Soetermeer's system on fifteenth-part frames. Four decks are indicated, two of which have diagonal bracing in the web; the deck beams are supported by brass knees. The model has twenty-one gunports. Scale 1:40.
