About this work
Model of the outer threshold of the sea dock lock at Vlissingen showing the improvements and repair work carried out in 1847-1848. The stones of the lock floor are each represented by a separate and numbered piece of wood, which can be removed piece by piece like a puzzle. The model also shows details of the pile foundation. Scale 1:50 (scale on model).
