About this work

Pointed 18 cm shell. The shell is 44.8 cm long and has a caliber of 175 mm. It has two ringed bronze driving bands for a rifled barrel with three grooves. The nose is shaped like a bottle neck and the fuze hole is filled with a plug with a rope. The inserted domed base is secured with a lead ring.
