About this work
Silver goblet, the cup with military and naval attributes on both sides, a crowned H and inscription. The stem consists of two intertwined water-spouting fantasy fish and reeds, the foot has a relief as water and the edges bound by cables. On the lid a standing sailor with flag and anchor, cables and a belt with inscription around the edges. Marked with master marks of Van Kempen, year letter F (=1865), Minerva head and assay marks.
