About this work
Drawing with calligraphed title. Central number of ships seen from different sides, with shot sails and damaged masts and yards. In the foreground floating parts of ships in the water, and people here and there. On the right in the background ships and smoke clouds can also be seen. At the mast tops of the ships letters and numbers are attached, which correspond with the description under the drawing.
