About this work
Brass sight or visor, consisting of two vertical rods between which a visor slides up and down. On one side the rods have a scale ranging from 8 to 14; on the side a scale is attached ranging from 4 to 8. The visor has a round base with a horizontal ridge; originally a chain was also attached to the visor, with which it was connected to the carriage. This visor was for field artillery; the inscription refers to a 15 cm howitzer, long model.
