About this work
Brass sight or sight vane. This large one consists of two vertical rods between which a sight slides up and down. On one side, the rod has a scale ranging from 4 to 14; additionally, it has a scale from 4 to 8 against the side of the rods. It has a trapezoidal foot, with which it was placed on the trunnion ring at the collar. With a rope attached to a ring, it was bound to the carriage. It belonged to a 15 cm howitzer, long old model.
