About this work
Round patent glass with a removable grate. The brass flange is screwed to the deck with six screws, the glass is inserted from below with the matte convex side down, and locked with a bayonet fitting with three lugs in the flange; two handles are attached to the rim for turning. When the glass is opened and hangs in three brackets attached to the flange, the cast-iron grate can be inserted from above.
