Half Model of a Screw Steamer

Polychromed, fully planked starboard half-model of a three-masted screw steamship. Eighteen gunports on the main deck. The figurehead is a gilded torso of an armored man, bareheaded. Elliptical stern of one story, one-story side galleries; rudder with round rudder head (American rudder) and straight rudder blade with rounded corners; the model has a screw frame and screw case for a screw light device. Keel nearly flat, one keel timber. Round midship section; the keel rises behind the screw stem. Scale 1:50 (scale on model).
