Model of an 84-Gun Ship of the Line (starboard side)

Frame model of the hull (starboard side), cut lengthwise. The model is fully rigged and exceptionally detailed. Seventy-six cannons and carronades are preserved; the model has ninety-six gunports distributed over three decks. Five levels: poop deck with locally lower levels, lower deck, middle deck, closed hold and half-deck with covered well, upper deck with two oval cabins, all rigged with doors, stairs, cupboards, cages etc. The figurehead is a crowned walking man (Neptune), the stern ornament is decorated with sea attributes and has eight toilets, the crane beams are decorated and have lion masks. The ship has a round stern with a wulf with two ports and a two-story stern with carving of vines, corner figures and the coat of arms of the Realm; two-story side galleries. Straight rudder with square rudder post and a brass tiller with a tiller rope, no tiller wheel, gutters through which the tiller rope is led to the steering wheel on the half-deck.
