About this work
Frame model with round timber. Smooth-sided double-banked barkasse, round-framed with a slight sheer and flat stern; a bowsprit, five hatches and spars, and an open cabin with side hatches. The bow is fitted with a disc. Three-part frames. Simple rudder with a tiller that fits over the rudder post. The rigging consists of a mainmast with a yard for a square sail and a mizzenmast with a jib-boom and sprit. Loose parts include a hand pump, a boat hook, and ten oars. Scale 1:20 (derived).
