About this work

Model of the disengagement of the crankshaft of a paddle wheel, on a baseboard. The pin of the crank falls into a groove of a head on the crank of the wheel axle, which, when rotated to the correct position, releases the pin and thus disengages the axle. With each stroke, the pin of the crank then moves freely through the groove. Both axles can be moved with a crank. Scale 1:10 (derived).
