About this work
Wooden model of a slip hook, painted grey, consisting of two parts: a cramp, which is secured with an eye in the floor of the boat, and a key with an eye for the tackle of the davit and a thick end. This cannot pass through the opening of the cramp, which is narrowed by thickening legs of the cramp, clamping the key. Only when the boat is in the water and the tension of the tackle is released does this bracket fall by its own weight, freeing the key. Scale 1:1.
