Drilling Apparatus for Metal

Beautifully ornate drilling stand on a wooden baseboard. The drilling machine is driven by hand with a crank, the transmission is 5:1. The drill shaft can be pushed down with a lever, which can also be weighted with weights. A fork-shaped lever halfway along the shaft serves to move the drill back up. The drill head has a square opening for the drill bits, which are missing. Under the shaft, the baseboard has a round hole.
