About this work

Percussion lock, black painted, mounted on the right side against the lock elevation with two bolts with wing nuts passing through the lock elevation. The hammer rotates at a right angle to the barrel; the pull cord is attached in the hammer's stock and runs through a ring backwards. There is a support for the hammer when it recoils. The touchhole is covered with an iron plate, which is pulled back by a lug on the hammer's axis when the hammer rotates.
