About this work
Naval sword No. 2 in scabbard. Curved blade with broad blood groove, yellow brass hilt with curved knuckle bow and hanging quillon with pommel. On both sides of the blade, an anchor is roughly engraved. The identification of this sword remains uncertain because it was found without an inventory number. The knuckle bow was slightly bent and broken where it joins the quillon.
