About this work

Model of a 24-pound cannon on a coastal carriage. The 57 cm long barrel has a caliber of 33 mm. Inscriptions are engraved on the barrel, along with crossed anchors and palm branches. The truck consists of two parallel cheeks with four steps and an elliptical cutout at the bottom, connected by the bolster and sole plate. The front axle is attached to the cheeks with brackets. The wooden front wheels consist of two discs. At the rear, the model lacks a normal axle with wheels: the cheeks have a recess for an axle with levers and a notch under the sole plate to lift the truck at the rear.
