About this work
Sash of twisted orange silk cord, in the technique of "Egyptian braiding", with some damage. Worn by 2nd Lieutenant Weymar Schultz (mobile volunteer corps?). At both ends of the sash hang tassels of the same braid, with long fringes on the underside; the stitched buttons of the sash ends are visible at the ends of the tassels.
