About this work
Sash of orange (frayed) silk cord, in the technique of "Egyptian plaiting," with the plaiting gathered in the center. Tassels made of cord are attached to both sides, through which the sash is threaded, and secured at the bottom with buttons. The buttons are reinforced with stitching.
