About this work
Drumstick or tambour-major staff made of pit reed. The underside has a partially steel-profiled copper tip. At the top, two holes with copper wire threaded through, bent into hooks on both sides. A white metal chain surrounds the staff. At the top of the staff, holes on both sides finished with white metal. On top of the staff, a copper-profiled ring, above which a silver ball with profile rings and vegetative ornaments. Silver marks on the rim.
