Glass Model of a 76-Gun Ship of the Line

Full-scale model of a line-of-battle ship, three-master, with 76 guns up to the waterline. The three masts and the bowsprit consist of thick twisted glass thread. The ship is further built up from single and, if necessary, multiple thin glass threads side by side. The threads are black or colorless and almost all twisted. On board nine figures in different colored clothing, and a dog. As a figurehead a male figure with a stabbing weapon in his right hand. On both sides of the ship a boat. The model stands in a wooden case. The sea is represented with glass flakes.
