About this work

Polychrome, rigged small decorative block model. Twenty-two guns are arranged in one layer (two are missing). Four levels: lower deck (gun ports), middle deck, closed forecastle deck and half-deck with walkways, upper cabin. The figurehead is a woman with a hat and spear. Twisted transom, hollow wulf with two ports, overhanging stern of two storeys with a side gallery and gilded carving of draperies and corner figures; side galleries of two storeys with draperies and fish tails. Straight rudder with square rudder head, steering wheel on the half-deck. The sheer rises slightly at both ends, two oak planks and one elm plank. Peaked round frame, very sharp at the bow and stern. The model has a three-masted rig without sails with a very long bowsprit and bowsprit mast, mizzen gaff, and very long boom.
