About this work

Polychrome, rigged block model. Twenty-two guns on one deck, no guns on half-deck or forecastle deck. Crowned lion as figurehead. Twisted transom, hollow wulf, stern and side gallery of one storey, decorated with carving and a lantern. Straight rudder with square rudder head, steering wheel on the half-deck. The model is equipped with a ship's bell, a chimney for the galley, a windlass, and two anchors. Sheer rises slightly at the bow and stern, two oak planks and one elm plank. Peaked round frame. Three-masted rig without sails, with mizzen gaff; a flag at the bow and stern. Scale 1:110 (derived).
