About this work

Ecru, in the center the coat of arms of Holland surmounted by a golden crown with five fleurs-de-lis. The whole is placed on a trophy of cannons, lances, drums, flags, etc. Hanging from the drums is a chain, no longer recognizable, probably the jewel of the Order of the Black Eagle of Prussia. Parade side: instead of the coat of arms of Holland, a silver oval with an armored arm coming from a small cloud on the flight side; around it an oval red band with in classical golden capitals: PUGN:PRO:PATRIA. Otherwise identical to the front.
