Standard of one of the regiments in Groningen (no. 2 of 9)

Ecru, with the coat of arms of Groningen in the center, supported by two golden, averted lions, covered by a royal crown. The lions stand on a white scroll, with in golden classical capitals: JURE ET TEMPORE, the motto of Groningen since 1612. The whole is placed on a trophy of cannons, swords, drums and flags. Behind it two upward-curving laurel branches with orange apples, held together at the bottom by an orange ribbon. In the corners a white, diagonally placed pomegranate, of which the one in the lower corner on the hoist side is missing. The parade side is identical.
