About this work

Ecru, in the center the coat of arms of the Republic, held by two looking-back lions with a ducal crown, the shield covered with a royal crown. The shield is set in an asymmetrical cartouche below which a scroll bears in classical golden capitals: CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT, the motto of the Republic. The whole is surrounded by two upward-curving golden branches with orange apples, which are held together at the bottom by a small orange-red ribbon. Parade side identical.
