About this work

Ecru, with the coat of arms of the Republic in the center, supported by two looking lions with a ducal crown, the shield surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is set in an asymmetrical cartouche below which a scroll with in classical golden capitals: CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT, the motto of the Republic. The whole is surrounded by two upward-curving golden branches with orange apples, which are held together at the bottom by a small orange-red bow. The reverse side is identical.
