Flag of the fifth infantry division

Yellow-cream colored flag cloth trimmed with gold fringe. On the front a crowned ornate W, under which the inscription: [5DE REGI]MENT INFANTERIE; along the sides green branches with orange berries. On the parade side the crowned coat of arms of the kingdom, with a scroll bearing the motto: JE MAINTIENDRAI, held by two crowned facing lions; this whole is surrounded by two upward-curving laurel branches, tied together at the bottom by a pink ribbon; along the sides green branches with orange berries. Originally attached to a standard of black lacquered wood, on which a gilded bronze wreath of oak branches, and at the top a recumbent lion with a bundle of arrows and sword on a block of the same, on the long sides the text: KONING EN VADERLAND, surrounded by a snake, and on the short sides a crowned W.
