About this work

Percussion army pistol, model M 1815. Smooth, round barrel, which transitions into a pentagonal section at the breech. A percussion pan is tapped into the top of the breech. On the breech end: M 181.. Marked on the barrel: 1816, T (with crown above), JA (with crown above), S (with crown above) and GB. Lock: Percussion lock, marked: D (with crown above). Wood: Walnut. Fittings: Brass: At the front of the stock is an openwork sleeve for attaching the barrel; lock plate; trigger guard; butt cap.
