About this work

Saber with a straight steel blade. Both sides with fuller. Copper hilt, grip with a knob in the form of a lion's head. Parrying quillons with downward-curving curls. Two pommel plates, the outer one decorated with a trophy of arms. Black leather scabbard with a partially profiled upper band. Carrying loop in the form of an acanthus leaf. Profiled and engraved lower band with a clover-shaped drag plate, containing a hole.
