About this work
Breastplate of a cuirass, according to tradition worn by Captain Falaiseau during the Siege of 's-Hertogenbosch in 1629. Iron, bright, the edges of the arm and neck openings are rounded and flanged. At the level of the arm opening two punched pins to which two iron rotating hooks are attached. Straight central ridge with a small bulge at the bottom. Parallel to the edges double decorative lines and copper rivets. The inside is painted black.
