About this work
Percussion pistol, part of a pair. Two barrels placed one above the other, mid-19th century. Burnished round rifled barrels. Brass front sight bead, no tang. Engraved with iron furniture. Smooth stock with a checkered grip. Knob with carrying ring and compartment for percussion caps. Iron nail-shaped ramrod, stored on the side of the weapon.
