About this work

English cavalry or hunting pistol. Round smooth barrel provided with English marks. No bead and no notch. Barrel in lockplate with pins. Flat lock. Cock with oval opening. Iron pan with spark guard. Lockplate marked 'G.R.' under crown and 'TOWER'. Brass sideplate and furniture. Ramrod with guard. Smooth lockplate with half brass band at the muzzle. Brass ramrod plate is probably of later date.
