About this work
Flintlock pistol, part of a pair, with an iron round smooth barrel interrupted by two profile bands before continuing octagonally. The lock plate is iron with the name "IAN KNOOP" engraved under the pan, and "UTRECHT" below it. The stock is walnut with an iron butt plate featuring a central protrusion on the cap. A carved flower motif on the neck of the stock. On the other side of the stock, iron furniture in the form of flower motifs. The trigger guard is entirely iron. Under the stock, a wooden ramrod in a tube with iron ends. The tip of the ramrod is iron.
