About this work

Flintlock pistol, part of a set, with an iron round smooth barrel interrupted by two profile bands, after which the barrel becomes octagonal. The lock plate is iron with the name "IAN KNOOP" engraved under the pan, and below that "UTRECHT". The stock is of walnut and has an iron butt cap with an iron plate on the top featuring a central bulge. A carved floral motif is on the stock neck. On the other side of the lock, an iron mount in the form of floral motifs. The trigger guard is entirely iron. Under the lock, a wooden ramrod in a case with an iron tip. The head of the ramrod is iron.
