About this work
The cavalry pistol has a smooth round barrel with raised sections. Sight bead with raised notch, a coat of arms on the barrel. Flat lockplate engraved 'J.G. Ertell Amsterdam'. Iron pan with spark guard. Swan-neck cock. Decorated iron sideplate and decorated iron furniture and lockplate. Wooden ramrod with a horn end.
