About this work
The cavalry pistol has a round smooth barrel with raised sections. Front sight bead with raised keep, on the barrel a coat of arms. Flat lock plate, engraved 'J.G. Ertell Amsterdam'. Iron pan with flash guard. Swan-neck cock. Worked iron side plate and worked iron furniture and stock. Wooden ramrod with a horn end.
