About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: tomb with three crowns and an inscription on the base; at the foot, a mourning woman with a shield and a extinguished torch, representing Germany within an inscription; section: inscription. Reverse: Glory with a palm branch in hand leads the portrait of the deceased emperor heavenward, while Germany, accompanied by the imperial eagle, kneels before the new emperor within an inscription; section: inscription; rim inscription.
