Silver medal. Obverse: illuminated by heavenly light, the city of Leiden, depicted as a crowned woman with a coat of arms sitting against a pillar, liberty cap above a lion, which with a sword in its claw lies on a pile of flags, coats of arms and armor within an inscription. Reverse: veiled woman, representing Religion, standing by a burning altar, illuminated by heavenly light within an inscription; edge: inscription.
