Silver medal. Obverse: illuminated by a radiant lily, a Dutch maiden sits on a throne amidst flags, with liberty cap on her lap and olive branch in hand; right water nymph with oar, leaning on a water jug; left flying Fame, blowing a trumpet; in the background river Scheldt within legend; section: inscription. Reverse: radiant triangle between clouds, in the background a view of the city of Paris; section: inscription. Reverse: hat of Mercury, staff and trumpet in a radiant halo above inscription; below a crowned coat of arms for crossed trident and rudder, wrapped in oak leaves.
