About this work

Bronze medal. Obverse: workshop, where under the watchful eye of Minerva two men and a child devote themselves to various branches of industry. Reverse: crowned coat of arms, surrounded by a cartouche, flanked by two mermaids, representing Art and Industry, who jointly hold a leaf wreath above a cartouche with a date within legend.
