International competition of certain manufactures and tools, during the exhibition of Dutch and colonial industry in Arnhem, medal awarded to the board and jury

Bronze medal. Obverse: Netherlands, depicted as a woman with a hammer in her right hand, resting on an anvil. Next to and behind her a steam engine, wheel, and anchor. Next to her stands a man, representing the Dutch East Indies, who places his right hand on her shoulder and holds a sugar cane in his left hand. To the left, among other things, a steam engine, an anchor, and a ram; to the right, an Indian house with a palm tree and agricultural products. Reverse: a beehive, against which rest coats of arms of the Netherlands and Arnhem, under a laurel wreath and star, standing amidst objects of industry within legend. Lower edge: inscription.
