About this work
Silver medal. Obverse: ship sailing through a chain shot by arrows, the chain stretched between two towers of the harbor of Damietta; on the left tower flutters a flag with a crescent moon; underneath: a crowned coat of arms on palm branches and two crossed bundles of arrows with axes within legend. Reverse: illuminated by heavenly light stands a veiled woman with a wreath in her raised right hand between a pillar with inscription and a printing press; to the left: letter S, to the right: C; edge: inscription.
