About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: view of the city from the south under an inscription in a cartouche of foliage; in the foreground: St. Antonieschans and the road; to the right: a small boat; at the base: monogram of the letters S and C above the date in a cartouche decorated with twigs. Reverse: seated Justice with a helmet on her head, holding a sword and scales in her left hand and a laurel wreath above a coat of arms in a cartouche with her right hand; behind her: an open book standing on an altar; at her feet: a cornucopia filled within an inscription.
