About this work
The collection contains 208 photographs with reproductions of artworks, mainly from the Italian Renaissance. Almost all photographs were made by the Fratelli Alinari and published by H.J.W. Becht. Most objects bear the stamp of Van Schendel ('AFE v S') and a few have handwritten notes on the verso.
