About this work

Insert album with 109 cartes-de-visite on 44 pages of the Kessler-de Lange family, including a portrait of Governor-General Van Lansberge in civilian clothes, and portraits of Margo Kessler as a small child, most made in the former Dutch East Indies. At the back of the album is a series of cartes with photographic images of sculptures and reproductions of paintings.
